Once a year, the Ophthalmology Department at the Royal Children's Hospital holds the Paediatric Ophthalmology Seminar. This seminar is designed for ophthalmology registrars in their 3rd year of training with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists. It is a three-day intensive short course held over three consecutive Saturdays and aims to provide participants with a combination of case discussions, didactic teaching, problem solving, informal discussion as well as "hands-on experience" to enable them to approach paediatric ophthalmological problems confidently.

2025: Virtual seminar dates: To be confirmed when in October 2025

2025: Live patient event (full day) at RCH in the outpatient eye clinic: To be confirmed when in October 2025.

Registration for the live patient day is strictly limited to 20 participants and will close when capacity is reached. (To avoid disappointment, we recommend registering as soon as possible.)

Registration for virtual event closes TBC EST. (Registration numbers are not limited for the virtual event.)
